At APU we offer full location scouting and location management. We have extensive experience on commercials, feature films, documentaries and TV production.
In Peru we have a wide variety of locations including sand deserts, ancient ruins, vast coastline, mountains, Amazon jungle, etc.
We also have an extensive location library with private client space where you can build your own search lightbox. Here you can share your selects with clients and producers, and they can leave comments and rate each picture. This library was custom built by the Location Network team in Los Angeles.

Reverse climate – Peru has reverse seasons to North America, Europe, and other northern hemisphere countries, allowing filmmakers to shoot authentic winter scenes when it is summer up north, and vibrant summer landscapes during northern winters.

Location – Peru offers a wide variety of climates and scenery within a short driving distance. Peru offers beaches, deserts, jungles, rivers, mountains, fertile valleys, and one of the biggest biodiversity in the world.
Peru is located in the center of the west coast of South America, next to the Pacific Ocean. As a result, Peru is regarded the hub of Latin America. Many airlines use Lima as the connection to the rest of Latin America. Additionally, the Jorge Chavez International Airport on Lima is considered the most modern airports in Latin America.
Geography – In Peru you can find:
- 84 of the 103 ecosystems in the world.
- More than 20 microclimates within a short distance.
- A wide variety of natural landscapes, from 27m (88ft) below the sea to 6788m (22,300ft) above the sea level.
- The Andes region in Peru has nine mountain ranges, and fifty mountains above 6000m (20,000ft) above the sea level.

- 262 hydrographic river basins.
- 772,000km (48,000miles) of tropical Amazon Jungle.
- All of these climatic conditions place Peru in the top five biologic diversity places in the world.
The coastal region, which spans 3080km (2000miles), is very similar to California. It shares similar flora and fauna, as well as various cold and warm ocean currents. Peru has tropical sunny beaches with an average temperature of 25°C (77°F).
